How do I get listed on the leaderboard?
For you to start listing on the leaderboard, you need to meet the following eligibility criteria:
How do I earn points for the leaderboard?
1️⃣ Join our hackathon slack channel - 10 points
- Easy-peasy 10 points!
- This is one of the eligibility criteria to qualify for the leaderboard, so what are you waiting for?
2️⃣ Complete the learning pathway - 20 points
- Read through materials & attempt the quizzes released at the resource section
- Additional 30 points for completing the quizzes with a 100% score
3️⃣ By attending community events - 20 points per event
- Here is a list of community events that you can join
- Opening Ceremony
- Build with Mercury sessions
- Virtual Networking
- Pitching Workshop
- Flow Developer Hours
- Filecoin Technical Sessions
- Save the hackathon event calendar so you won't have to miss out on any of these exciting events!
4️⃣ Submit a qualified project - 50 points
- The submission has to be clocked on the system by October 31, 11:55pm UTC +08:00
- The project has to meet all submission requirements
- This is a requirement in order to qualify for the FIL tokens when being within the Top 100 on leaderboard
5️⃣ Networking on the hackathon Slack channel - 10 points per action
- Introduce yourself on the #introductions channel on the hackathon slack (awarded once)
- Share your team photo on the #photo-booth channel on the hackathon slack (awarded once)
- Share your team's hackathon progress during the 6 weeks period on the #photo-booth channel on the hackathon slack (awarded up to 3 pictures)
6️⃣ Get active on your social media - 10 points per post
- Leave a comment by tagging 3 friends on any of the #MercuryHackathon2021 posts on AngelHackHQ page. DM your slack id to @AngelHackHQ to claim your points! (awarded once)
- Post and boast about your participation at the hackathon on your social media, and don't forget to include the hashtag #MercuryHackathon2021. DM us on the hackathon slack channel once you've done so to claim your points! (awarded once)
7️⃣ Refer someone to join the hackathon - 10 points per person
- Get points for each successful referral using your UTM link (sent to your inbox)
- If your referred friend submits a qualified project, you will get additional 10 points!
What do I stand to win from the leaderboard?
🎁 For participants in the Top 100 ranking* (determined by November 7, 11:59pm UTC +08:00). you will be receiving FIL tokens worth approximately USD150**
*Top 100 ranking is considered when the individual has submitted a qualified project for the hackathon. Top 100 in this case may not necessary refer the actual number ranking, but the nearest 100 individual who have met the minimum requirement of project submission.
**The actual value of token prizes is subject to price fluctuations in the cryptocurrency marketplace based on, among other things, any gap in time between the date the ARV is estimated for

You will find your name on the leaderboard if you have met the eligibility criteria for the leaderboard.
